Before diving into that, let’s focus on who these two players actually are. Both in their early twenties, Jayson is 21 and Jaylen is 22. Their size and stature also vary a little. During their time in high school, they were top prospects. Coincidentally, they were also drafted as the third overall pick by the Celtics. Jaylen entered the league in 2016 and Jayson in 2017.

The Boston Celtics’ duo battle

Last season as well, the duo led the franchise to another Conference Finals. However, the Miami Heat just turned out to be the better team. It looks like the two are ready to take the league by storm as they practice against one another.

A video of Jayson dominating Brown during practice is one worth watching. It also gives us an insight into how the Celtics’ two superstars will look when their next season begins. Tatum has also signed a five-year max extension with the Celtics, so it looks like we will see him go through the prime of his career here.

They are set to face the Milwaukee Bucks in their season opener. It will be interesting to see how these two manage their way around Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Their biggest upside would be that Tatum and Brown have been playing together for longer than their opponents, and their chemistry on and off the court makes their game even better.
