The Los Angeles Lakers have now booked their place in the Western Conference Finals! LeBron James came into the 2020 NBA Playoffs more fired than ever, and he didn’t disappoint. LBJ is ready to take on anyone coming up against him, and it was evident in Game 5 between the Lakers and Rockets!

LeBron James is locked in with the Lakers this season. There’s no one on the team that can match up to the King’s intensity. The 35-year-old always shifts to a different mentality when he’s on the court, and Rockets’ Austin Rivers almost faced the wrath of the King!

During a moment in the fourth quarter, LeBron and Rivers had a little moment, which fortunately didn’t turn into a tussle. It happened in the fourth quarter when the Lakers were already up by 23.0 points against the Rockets

LeBron drove to the paint, where Rivers tried to block him and ended up giving a foul. The ball went up from LBJ’s hands after the ref blew the whistle, after which Austin Rivers made a volleyball swipe to hand it over to the Lakers. But the airball bounced on LeBron’s head, which quickly infuriated the four-time MVP.

He swiftly turned back at Rivers, who had already realized the error that he’d made. However, the Rockets player mentioned his original intention, which wasn’t to bounce the ball off LBJ’s head. Though nothing ignited on the court, the moment was catchy, with LeBron turning to confront Rivers as soon as he got hit on the head.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis: A match made in heaven!

Undoubtedly, Anthony Davis is one of the best teammates LeBron has ever had. Could we dare go a step further and say he’s the best ever? Not really, because one can’t just disregard Kyrie Irving! However, LeBron and AD are matching historic records, playing together as teammates.

LeBron and AD have been nothing short of inspirational, guiding the Lakers to their first WCF appearance since 2010. So far, LeBron is averaging 26.6 points and 10.3 rebounds per game in the 2020 playoffs. Moreover, AD is ahead with a 27.6 PPG and 10.9 RPG in the bubble postseason.

But it doesn’t end there. AD and LeBron have combined for 542 PTS, 212 REB & 129 AST in the postseason so far. These incredible numbers make them only the third duo in NBA history to achieve a tally of 500+ points, 200+ rebounds, and 100+ assists in their first ten playoff games together.
