“We Are Those Sons a B****es”: NBA Legend Bill Russell Bashes US President Donald Trump

Bill Russell is one of the greatest players in the history of basketball. The Boston Celtics Legend holds the record for most rings ever with 11 championships. The Center played for Boston in an era when racist trends were prevalent in a city known for its discrimination. It goes without saying that the 86-year-old has seen his fair share of racist acts.
Obviously, when Donald Trump was elected president, Bill Russell wasn’t the happiest person. The Celtics legend has tweeted against the American President many times. His tweets have been critical of Trump’s policies. The most recent of these tweets came on June 13, when Bill wrote about the protests. Bill Russell tweeted about Trump’s attempts to suppress the ongoing protests.

Bill Russell, in his tweet, tried to disprove Trump’s claim that his government is the most beneficial one yet for African-American people. Russell frequently calls out the President, but Trump has chosen to not respond even once. Bill also recently tweeted a photograph in which he was kneeling. The tweet was in support of the ongoing movement and also took a jab at Donald Trump.
