Tom Brady is an All-Time NFL great and has won more super bowls than anyone else in the history of the NFL. Because of his record 7 super bowls and his ability to lead his team as a quarterback, he is considered the “GOAT” of the NFL by many.

After playing for the New England Patriots for 20 years, he left and signed with Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020. And lead them to their first super bowl since 2003 in 2021. After the divisional loss in the 2021-22 season against the LA Rams, he announced he will retire from the game of football. But just after 40 days, he decided to return to the NFL.

And Tom Brady was featured on the “NBA on TNT” show with Aaron Rodgers via video call. The NBA on TNT crew asked about “Capital One’s The Match”, the golf match where Tom and Aaron would play together this time around. And Aaron expressed his excitement at playing golf on the same team as Brady.

Shaquille O’Neal asked Tom whether there would be any friendly bets during the golf game. To which Brady responded, saying that there will be, and that he has to bet whatever the young guys are betting, even though he would be the lowest paid guy on the golf court this time around.

So Charles Barkley said, “Well Tom, #1 if you are worried about being the lowest-paid guy, why don’t you just quit, retire again and go to TV? I hear some change coming your way.” Chuck hilariously joked about the news that broke out a week back. Brady signed a record-breaking 10 years $375 million deal with Fox Sports.

Final season for Tom Brady

Tom Brady signed a 2-year extension with Tampa Bay after helping them win the super bowl in 2021. But the 2021-22 season didn’t turn out to be a great one. Tom and the Buccaneers were eliminated by the eventual winners Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional round.
