Orlando Magic stunned the basketball world after winning the Game 1 vs Milwaukee Bucks. However, that might have been a fluke as Bucks won the next three games and took a 3-1 lead in the series.

Moreover, the Magic have missed the contributions from star forward Aaron Gordon. Gordon injured his left hamstring against the Toronto Raptors during the Bubble seeding games, thus missing the entire Playoffs till now. Gordon was already ruled out of Game 5 on Wednesday night, but the match was postponed.

Gordon was performing at an elite level before picking up the injury, scoring 20+ points in back-to-back games.

The Athletic’s Shams Charania gave an update on Gordon’s situation. He said:

This is not good news for the Magic, as Gordon contributed 14.4 points to their offense this season. The 24-year has left the Bubble to get further treatment for his injury.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is having a historic season, something which will be remembered for ages. The Greek Freak has already won the Defensive Player of the Year award and will most likely win the MVP award too. But can the Magic be an obstacle for him? Honestly, it all depends on how Nikola Vucevic performs.

In Game 1 of the series, Vucevic out-scored Giannis, and that was the deciding factor for the game. Additionally, the Magic clamped the Bucks shooters, increasing the pressure on their star player. Ultimately, they won the game with a score of 122-110.

The Magic need to take baby steps to have a chance against the Bucks. They need to take it one game at a time and play top-notch defense. If the Magic can stop the Bucks’ perimeter offense, it will put a burden on Antetokounmpo.

However, this strategy will go in vain if the Magic cannot make their shots on the offensive end.

What do you think? Will the Bucks kick out the Magic from the Bubble? Or will the Magic surprise the basketball world again?
