NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has been the center of a lot of jokes revolving around his free throw skills during his earlier days. However, now his own son is poking fun at him. Could it get any worse for poor Shaq?

The O’Neal family is very close to one another. Their individual social media handles are proof of the same. The family holds in house concerts and music festivals. They always include Shaq’s stepson Myles O’Neal and nephew Gregory Jordan, too.

Talking about social media, the former Lakers legend makes it a point to involve with sons Shareef and Shaqir when they make TikTok and Instagram videos.

Since they have such a friendly father-son relationship, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Shareef insults his father on his weak point.

Recently, in a TikTok video on Shareef’s handle, he posted a video featuring Shaq. The video starts off with Shareef making a face with the caption, ‘My Dad got a boat and he named it “free throw“.’

Then, the camera shifts to a resting Shaq and stops dramatically. Shareef captioned that shot, “Because he will never sink it.”

Shaquille O’Neal has missed over 5300 free throws in his career.

It seems like Shareef has a good part of Shaq’s humor in him. We’re glad we get the chance to witness the O’Neal family’s shenanigans, thanks to the various social media platforms they use so generously.

Shareef also made a meme about Shaq’s hairline earlier in March. The meme implied that his father’s hairline was pushed so far back, it was in Stephen Curry range. As we know, Steph Curry has really long range. He is easily considered one of the greatest three-point shooters ever.

Now that the entire sports industry stands suspended, all players are in their houses. Shaq and Shareef spend a lot of time with their family.

Shareef has also announced that he will transfer from UCLA to LSU. Louisiana State University is the same college Shaq played for. We hope to witness Shareef outperforming his father. Surely, it would be a wondrous sight to witness.
