There is no doubt that Brink’s family is extremely close to Steph’s family. Further, the admiration and love between all the members is also undeniably clear.

However, some fans of the basketball world are surely confused as to why this legend-in-the-making of the NBA has not already made his impact known in the world of the Olympics.

Why has Stephen Curry not participated in the Olympics yet?

When we look at the accolades that this tremendous giant of the Golden State Warriors has collected over his 15 years in the NBA, it raises the question as to why he has not already made it into the Olympics. The eight-time All-Star took his name back from the candidates just two months before the 2016 Olympics. Additionally, something similar happened in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. However, the reason is quite straightforward. He had mentioned several reasons for not participating in the Olympics, which also included knee and ankle injuries.

Nonetheless, this time Stephen Curry is back in his form and nothing seems to be taking him away from representing the USA in the Olympics.
