In her last game against Nebraska, Clark achieved not only the highest number of assists on the night but also became the only player in college basketball history to bag 3000 points and 1000 assists.

Caitlin Clark sets a milestone to her name yet again, and closes in on another

Clark is undeniably one of the most dynamic payers in the NCAAWBB history. The Hawkeyes lost their recent away game by a close 82-79 against the Cornhuskers, but that was not on Caitlin’s part who made 31 points, 8 rebounds, and 10 assists that night. She broke the record for the highest assists as well and stands atop 1000 career assists, with much more likely to follow.

Recently, she also attained the second spot for the all-time scoring in the NCAAWBB and is on a roll to grab Kelsey Plum’s top seat. After Iowa’s matchup against Nebraska, Caitlin only stands 7 points away from Plum’s record of 3,527 points. Clark is currently scoring an average of 32.1 points per game. And so, she will likely sit in the highest chair after Iowa’s next game.

Nevertheless, Caitlin does not seem to be slowing down her pace. In this case, she is not only looking to break Kelsey Plum’s record but also of an icon of the NBA.

Caitlin Clark entered Iowa as a phenomenal player. However, today she has undeniably become a phenomenon herself. Once she goes past Kelsey Plum, she will be trailing another legend of Division I. Kelsey too left her college career merely 140 points behind LSU‘s impeccable shooting guard, Pete Maravich. Today, Caitlin Clark is just 147 points away from the record Pete set back in 1970.

At Caitlin’s present pace, she might just be able to reach the top,  leaving the likes of Plum and Maravich far behind. For her fans, it is astonishing how this athlete leads her team to grab baskets and records at every opportunity available.
