A Stinging Day for LSU, Angel Reese Finally Claps Back at Haters After Embarrassing Loss to #20 Colorado

The #1 LSU Tigers suffered a heartbreaking loss in their NCAA season opener match against the #20 Colorado Buffaloes. The defending champions were anticipated to dominate this season, as they have one of the strongest lineups with players like Angel Reese, Flau’Jae Johnson, and Hailey Van Lith, among others. 

The Tigers, however, lost their first match with a Final score of 92-78. Critics of Angel Reese and the LSU team took this opportunity to unleash their criticism and created doubt among fans about their ability to defend their title. Yet, in the face of adversity, Reese finally claps back at her haters. 

Angel Reese sends a message to the haters

After the LSU Tigers’ embarrassing loss, numerous fans took to social media to show their displeasure for the team. But, Reese had had enough of it, as she took to X to respond to her haters.

She reposted an old tweet, which was originally posted in May, in which she simply wrote, “Be yourself in this world full of hate.” Even before this season started, Reese opened up about how she deals with her haters.

She said, “If you don’t have no haters, you ain’t popping. And I learned to ignore by looking at all the people that are inspired by me. I don’t really pay attention to haters because they’re going to say what they want to say.” 

As the season unfolds, Reese showcased how athletes have to fight on the court as well as off the court with naysayers, but being her unapologetic self, she knows how to handle criticism.
