There wasn’t a single boring moment at the recently concluded New York Fashion Week. Showgoers kept up with the high energy, including athletes like Suni Lee and Paige Bueckers, who made a splash at NYFW. Bueckers, in particular, made her debut this year and turned heads with her 10/10 dreamy butterfly-inspired outfit, leaving fans obsessed.

“Harddd,” tennis star Coco Gauff commented on Bueckers’ NYFW Instagram post. The UConn Huskies star made an appearance at the Off-White Spring/Summer 2025 show, which was held from September 6 to 11. For her appearance, she was clad in a black jacket and trousers adorned with vibrant butterfly appliques.

Her look was completed with chunky Nike sneakers. Days after her hectic schedule, the Huskies star had the chance to bless her IG followers with some close-up glimpses of her outfit from the event and captioned it, “butterFLY“. Her look was styled by Brittany Hampton, who also commented on the post.

The 22-year-old has had quite a busy summer. Just a month earlier, she had the honor of throwing the first pitch at a Minnesota Twins game. Her charm seemed to work as the Twins won against Kansas City, and fans were captivated by the college basketball star’s presence in Minnesota. Not just that, but she also honed her basketball skills by working out with Stephen Curry and Jaylen Brown.

Nonetheless, her supermodel vibes at NYFW didn’t go unnoticed. Minnesota Lynx star Dorka Juhász, among many others, commented on her post, praising the 22-year-old for looking like a supermodel.

Fans are enchanted with Paige Bueckers’ supermodel like looks

“She’s a whole supermodel,” Juhász wrote. Buecker’s Huskies teammate Aubrey Griffin went all symbolic on her post. She added a butterfly emoji and heart-eye emoji in the comments section to show her appreciation. It’s understandable why Paige would be so fashionable, as she told Vogue, “While I have been to some style-driven events in the past, I had to get out to New York Fashion Week to experience it all in a really immersive way.”

Taking to the comments section, Los Angeles Sparks star Cameron Brink wrote, “I’m obsessed.” Another Sparks player, Azurà Stevens, also commented on the post. Trying to poach the UConn star maybe? The Sparks are having another poor season, and are currently rooted to the bottom of the WNBA standings. If they get the first pick next season, it’s highly likely they’ll pick Bueckers as she’s the projected first pick for the 2025 Draft.

Mesmerized by Bueckers’ butterfly outfit, a fan wrote, “My jaw is on the floor and I can’t pick it back up, cuz,” and added heart emojis. Before Off-white, the Huskies star also attended the Tombogo Spring/Summer 2025, which was held on September 6. Bueckers also got a moment to pose alongside Suni Lee, who rocked her Prada look for the fashion show.

While one believes Bueckers looked the best and wrote, “goated” another netizen noted, “Jaw dropped, absolutely mesmerizing.” Buecker’s wasn’t alone. Her teammate Azzi Fudd who was decked in all black also joined her. The two attended the Las Vegas Aces vs. New York Liberty matchup before making ripples at the fashion show. Both of them were present at the US Open to cheer for Gauff as well.

With eyes full of excitement, Paige Bueckers exuded power in her outfit, much like her presence on the basketball court. With this, one would assume her summer tour is finally over.

Stay tuned for more such updates and join us for the exciting second episode of the “Dual Threat Show” as our host BG12 sits down with Georgia Bulldogs star and Mountain West All-Freshman Team Selection, Asia Avinger.
