There is no denying that Angel Reese and Shaquille O’Neal share a bond that transcends beyond the hardwood. From Reese agreeing to be the face of Shaq’s Reebok to the latter escorting the All-American forward on her senior day, the LSU duo leave no chance when it comes to showing support for each other.

As the NBA legend turns 52 today, he is all set to receive a queue of warm wishes from all around the world. However, Reese is not far behind in extending her admiration for Uncle Shaq.

Bayou Barbie recently used her Instagram to wish the LSU Tigers legend on his special day. She posted a story with a very heartwarming message for the 4x NBA champion. Angel Reese wrote, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE GOAT! A BLESSING TO HAVE AN AMAZING PERSON LIKE YOU IN MY LIFE! LOVE YOU ALWAYS LEGEND!!@SHAQ.

In addition to this, the story featured a video of Reese and O’Neal vibing together on Latto and Cardi B’s superhit track ‘Put It On Da Floor.’ Moreover, they also lip-synced the lyrics “I been balling so damn hard, could’ve went to LSU.” together. The post also featured a couple of pictures of them together.

Soon after, Shaquille O’Neal reshared Angel’s special gesture in one of his stories. However, this is not the first time that these two have publicly flaunted their bond.

Angel Reese and Shaquille O’Neal met each other for the first time during an LSU football game. Following this, Shaq decided to mentor the NCAA Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player in her young career. Apparently, after winning the national championships last year, he guided the young star on how to deal with stardom.

In an earlier interview, Angel Reese said, “He just said, people are gonna hate me, people are not gonna like me, people are gonna feel some type of way because they wish they were me, they’re gonna judge me.”
