Great minds inspire. But looks like Angel Reese and Serena Williams are finding the motivation in each other lately. While she is off of the 2024 March Madness bracket, Reese has found many places to be at. The 2023 NCAA champion spent hours alongside the American record producer Travis Scott to sell his merch in the LSU bookstore. She was seen behind the desk as the rapper brought in his latest clothing brand Cactus Jack. If this highlight of the day was not enough, she slithered into a conversation with Serena Williams.

The day started for the Lady Tiger at the school campus with Travis Scott selling black LSU hoodies to the students. The sales quickly became competitive as the Bayou Barbie took a spot for working the register. The rest of the Tigers WBB team also took photos with the producer before he left for the Texas football team.

Travis Scott had a midnight launch at the LSU Barnes & Nobles. The sales started Wednesday evening and continued till Thursday morning with long queues of LSU students waiting to grab their products. Amongst the various popular faces of LSU was their President William F. Tate IV who ensured that the spirits stayed high through the night and Travis Scott had the best experience.

However, Reese’s day was nowhere close to an end as she found herself in a TV conversation, with Serena Williams applauding her.

Serena Williams recently came on the USA Today show to promote her brand WYN. However, she had more to say about the basketball player. Angel Reese recently outed her WNBA draft commitment in the style that Williams announced her retirement. On the same lines, Williams said, “That was the first thing I said, ‘I want an outfit like that too.'”

Continuing to praise the hooper for her impact on the WBB, she said, “They inspire this whole group of amazing and beautiful athletes. And they look beautiful on their fields and courts and everything but still be fierce. That’s what I was always about. How do I look beautiful and fierce at the same time.” Angel Reese also shared the clip on her Instagram story. She captioned it, “Wow! Thank you so much! Such an inspiration.”

Williams is clearly a fan of all the young women athletes as they resonate with her own mantra of being bold and beautiful but also savage. With her latest WYN brand in the markets, maybe we can see the two collaborating in the financial space as well. However, until we see which team draws Angel Reese, we do know she will still be making headlines with the remaining time at the LSU campus.
