Angel Reese shares her thoughts on her current form

Angel Reese gave a stunning performance in her homecoming match against the Coppin State Eagles. The All-American forward finished the night with 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists to her name. After this, she was interviewed to spare some thoughts on her recent form. Apparently, she was asked if she was close to the form that she was back in the title game in April. To which Reese replied, “You could say that. I didn’t have as many rebounds tonight as I did in the national championship game. I think I had a double-double in the national championship game.”

The LSU Tigers adopted a different style of play this NCAA season. Even in the absence of Reese, they won their games in a convincing fashion. Seemingly, Kim Mulkey no longer relies on one player to get herself the desired results. As a matter of fact, Reese further opened up on this approach. She added, “I feel like this year I have a lot more talent around me. I don’t have to do a lot. Me and Aneesah are down there fighting for rebounds and Aaliyah coming down there as well. It takes a lot off my shoulders to be able to do a lot of things. I’m being able to work on different parts of my game.”
