The WNBA Draft has finally arrived. With just 24 hours to go, all the draftees are flying to New York to prepare for the big event. Angel Reese and Cameron Brink seemed the be the first ones to grab their goodies amongst their colleagues. Not only that, but seeing this much amount of talent under one roof is rare. Hence, it is only natural that the fans are losing their minds as they see them as college players for the last time before they become professional hoopers.

This year’s WNBA draft will be held at the BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) on April 15, 2024, at 7:30 pm. Unlike any other years in recent memory, fans will also be a part of this WNBA event. Cathy Engelbert will be announcing the draft picks live on the stage and ESPN will broadcast the same throughout the world. It is quite obvious why this year fans are also invited to the ceremony. This was one of the best, if not the best, year for women’s basketball.

The likes of Caitlin Clark, who seems to have broken every NCAA record possible, Angel Reese, who enriched the entire women’s college basketball with her on-court and off-court actions, and Cameron Brink, who displayed all the leadership qualities at Stanford, are just a handful of names that will soon grace WNBA floors.
