Angel Reese and her uncle Shaquille O’Neal have been spotted together on numerous occasions, with Shaq always by her side as a source of support. This time, she has returned to congratulate him on achieving another legendary feat. Notably, Shaq’s No. 32 jersey was recently retired by his first professional team, Orlando Magic. The iconic center started his career with the team, showcasing his dominance on the court. 

Surprisingly, the Magic has never done something like it. Hence, Shaq becomes the first player to get this honor by the franchise in another legendary moment for the icon! Reese could not contain her excitement as she applauded the accomplishment.

Angel Reese has always come forward for the people she loves. This time, it’s for her uncle and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal to enjoy her devotion. In her Instagram story, the Bayou Barbie shared a post by Orlando Magic and the NBA on their respective official pages. On 14th February 2024, Shaquille O’Neal became the first player in Magic’s history to get his jersey retired. To this, Angel expressed, “Congrats Unc!! The GOAT!”

Angel Reese has previously talked about Shaq and what his presence has meant in her life. The four-time NBA champion also came to her aid when fans trolled her for the “You can’t see me” action against Caitlin Clark last year.

Orlando Magic was Shaquille’s first team when he was drafted as the first pick. He played for them for four years, from 1992 to 1996. He completely changed how the team operated and brought them to the map. During his four-year tenure with the Orlando Magic, Shaquille collected several accolades. These included NBA Rookie of the Year, four-times All-Star, All-NBA Second Team, and All-NBA Third Team.

Unquestionably, Shaquille O’Neal has earned all the honors and accolades to earn his name on the rafters. With his jersey retired by three of the six franchises he has played for, Shaq is now the second of only two players to achieve this feat.
