More so, to keep the emphasis, the list brings pride to UConn as the Huskies’ guard is shining in the top 3. However, several other talented players are on UConn’s roster like Azzi Fudd, Aaliyah Edwards, and Aubrey Griffin.

Notably, out of all the people who answered the question, the majority of them chose Paige over Aubrey. Seeing this, Aubrey is left hilariously speechless and stunned. However, she does get to cheer up a little bit when one of them picks her name instead of Paige’s.

Although, this was a fun thing to do, both Paige and Aubrey are impressive players on the Huskies’ roster, making significant contributions to UConn’s success. In a matchup against #20Maryland last month, Bueckers led the Huskies by scoring 24 points, and 6 steals, along with Griffin playing a key role. Similarly, Bueckers scored 22 points in a matchup against Kansas at the Cayman Islands Classic, while Griffin hooped along 20 points, leading UConn to a 71-63 win.

Moreover, both the players are committed to the team and the sport, with a goal to win the national championship.

How Bueckers and Griffin are performing this season?

Notably, this season Paige Bueckers returned to the floor after recovering from her ACL injury that kept her away for quite a long time. She has been averaging 18.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists, with a field goal percentage of 53%. Impressively, her performance against North Carolina was outstanding as she hooped 26 points along with 11 3-point shots from the floor.

Meanwhile, Aubrey’s performance has been instrumental in UConn’s success as she has been averaging 23.2 minutes per game, including 9.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1 block, shooting with a field goal percentage of 55.3%.

With much spotlight given to Bueckers, it is only fair to shed some of it on Griffin. So far in her career at UConn, Griffin has appeared in 105 games, and starting 40 games out of that. Unfortunately, due to a back injury, she had to miss the entire 2021-22 season. However, even after facing these setbacks, she ramped up with consistency and scored a career-high 11.3 points along with a career-high 6.6 rebounds in the last season.
