Bronny James’ $49,000 Loss Costs Him NIL Crown Weeks Before 2024 NBA Draft; Dethroned By Deion Sanders’ Son Shedeur

Bronny James didn’t have the best of seasons. Not only did his team the USC Trojans not qualify for this year’s March Madness, the 19-year-old couldn’t display the best of form on his debut college basketball season. To make matters more frustrating for his fans, James is no longer the NIL king at the moment.
Recently, the elder son of King James has slipped to the second spot in the latest NIL rankings. After a long-standing battle, it appears that Coach Prime’s son Shedeur Sanders finally got the better of him.
The NIL valuation graph has a new champion. After days of neck-to-neck contest with the USC point guard, the Buffs quarterback finally triumphs over his adversary and becomes the undisputed king of the NIL world. This is a direct consequence of the recent slump in Bronny’s valuation which went from $4.7 million to $4.5 million a few days earlier. This is after he witnessed a 5% decline ($0.26 million) previously which resulted in him tying for the first position with the 22-year-old football player. An additional loss of $49,000 now places him below Sanders for the time being.

On the other hand, the talent No.2 of the Colorado Buffs managed to maintain his 1% hike from last week. His P.I.E score is divided into two parts in which the roster value consists of $830000 and his NIL number stands at $ 4.1 million. In addition to this, he has 2.5 million followers out of which Instagram comprises 1.8 million. The remaining are his 607K followers on TikTok and 66K on X.
In the meantime, the 2023 McDonald’s All-American is trying to fork away his future steps.

Previously, the LA Lakers star’s son Bronny had confirmed that he would enter the 2024 NBA draft. However, he also said that he will be maintaining his college eligibility. While the 2024 NBA drafts are not until June, the Trojans player is still checking out various schools for his next move. If he does not get a good ranking in the draft, he will return to complete his college basketball career with another team.
In his final post as a Trojan, he did say that he had had a good time with his team. His freshman season has not only given him growth as a player but as a student and a person as well.

Apparently, amongst the many choices for James, Duke and Kentucky were becoming quite an obvious choice. However, at that time, John Calipari was still with the Wildcats and now he has moved on to Arkansas. Hence, what Bronny James has in his future is in the fog. Seems like we will have to wait and watch what his next chapter reads like.
