Caitlin Clark set to lock horns with Sabrina Ionescu

Tickets for New York Liberty’s upcoming matchup against Indiana Fever on May 18th are on sale now. However, the fans feel icky as the ticket prices at the Barclays Center are going off the charts. The price range is $211 – $791. One of the major reasons behind this is Iowa’s record-breaking point guard Caitlin Clark, as she’s set to make her WNBA debut with Indiana Fever.

Stupified with such high prices of the game, fans are going hilariously wild in the comment section of the New York Liberty’s Instagram post saying, “Sabrina vs Caitlin will feed families”. Many others reacted, “Take the train people.. $77 to park,” talking about the high parking fee. Continuing the sarcastic banter, some fans wrote, “Waiting for the entire upper level to open up, these prices are crazy,” and, “Should’ve gotten these tickets before CC announced, fml.”

However, focussing on Sabrina’s face-off with come-of-age Caitlin Clark, some fans wrote, “Against Caitlin & Aliyah?? Oh my goodness,” while adding the expressing the excitement with, “Sabrina & Caitlin sheesh gotta get my popcorn ready.”

Much of this hype comes from Caitlin Clark who has become a household name after having 4 magnificent seasons at Iowa. Indiana Fever fans are eagerly waiting for her debut as the team won the draft lottery to hold the No.1 overall pick for the second time. Last year, the team picked South Carolina’s Aliyah Boston with the first pick. Eventually, she earned the WNBA Rookie of the Year Award after averaging 14.5 points, and 8.4 rebounds per game while shooting with a field goal percentage of 57.8%.
