Cameron Brink Admits Not Knowing Paige Bueckers’ Pronunciation During Hilarious Stanford Stroll

With the March Madness craze taking over most college campuses, players are having all the fun they can. The same could be seen with Cameron Brink as she was walking around Stanford’s campus with a microphone, having an open pop quiz about women’s basketball and the sport in general. Amusing her fans with this creative feat, Cameron arrived at a moment of an interesting admission regarding one of her competitors, Paige Bueckers.

Stanford’s campus lit up with Cameron Brink’s recent feat in collaboration with Just Womens Sports, where she was seen stumping students with some interesting questions: “How many women’s basketball players can you name?” Cameron asked, to which a student answered, “Cameron Brink, Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers…..or Bweckers?”

Bursting with laughter, Cameron lightly contemplated, “I think its Bueckers? I actually don’t even know. Bueckers!” as they finally settled on saying Bueckers as it is actually pronounced. Notably, Paige’s last name does have an intrigue to it. Many have failed to say it correctly. The phonetic pronunciation of her surname is “BEH-kerz”.

It is common knowledge that Cameron Brink’s dominant shot-blocking prowess, Caitlin Clark’s trailblazing and record-breaking moves, and Paige Bueckers’ phenomenal gameplay and global influence have revitalized people’s interest in women’s college basketball.

They are some of the best women’s college basketball players who have largely contributed towards the growth of women’s basketball. With their performances in the recent past, including this season, they have become household names in the U.S.
