Walking the presenters through the Brink’s family past week, Michelle shared some insights on what kept Cameron going through these games all around the week. She said, “you know, you try to give her a sense of calm and support and feed nothing but positivity, but your insides are like butterflies, its crazy.”

She also elaborated on Cameron’s resonance with the quote in her locker that was written by former Stanford staff member Jaylyn Savage. She said, “I think that people who don’t know her and see an edge to her and think that maybe she is not a kind person, but she really is. She is a really big goofball and she loves hard and loves hard and for her teammates she is a ride or die. So, I think what she love is that someone who knew her recognize that and communicated it just made her really really happy.”

The questions about Cameron’s competitiveness were then directed to her elder brother, Cy, to which he said, “she would always find ways to get your attention, as a kid, you know she would always steal whatever toy I have and I was 5 or 6 and we would run around the house and she would drop them right when I was about to catch her, but you know, she was really really great at just giving everything that she had like that. She always wanted send love and give love and I think being able to have someone like that as a sister is so wonderful.”

The big decision

Michelle mentioned that Cameron will be facing challenges on whichever path she decides to go. “You know like, if you go to the ACC that you know presented some sort of challenge, if she go pro, its whole new learning curve, so, but she is in a great position, she’s close.”
