The Louisiana State University Lady Tigers’ star Angel Reese has been in the headlines ever since she won the NCAA Championship title. The Maryland-born is enjoying her fair share of popularity and has had the chance to meet her favorite celebrities. Reese recently opened up about meeting with her favorite pop stars.

Angel Reese was elated to share details about her meeting with her favorite pop stars on SEC Tip-Off interview on Wednesday. The NCAA Champion was asked questions on a lot of topics ranging from her relation with the NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal to the experience of the newly acquired fame. Reese was jubilant while sharing the information. “I met Beyonce. She came to New Orleans and performed for a Rennaisance tour which was amazing and I met Jay Z as well. It was so much fun. Her presence is just amazing. I had a good time with her.”

For the unversed, the LSU star had previously made it to the headlines when she had bagged a NIL deal with the sporting giants – Rebook. The conglomerate in a bid to revive its brand image had signed the NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal as its President for Basketball. Shaq’s first move as a President was inking a deal with the rising star – Angel Reese – who then relived the moment when she was first introduced to “Uncle” Shaq by her team’s assistant coach – Bob Starkey.

Angel Reese has a commendable contribution to the women’s college basketball circuit as her rivalry with the Iowa Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark did attract a lot of attention. The Finals of the Championship had a record 9.9 million tuning in to watch one of the most anticipated clashes.

The 21-year-old earned the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player during 2023 and also made it to the Unanimous first-team All-American 2023.

The LSU decimated the Iowa Hawkeyes by a record 102-85 during the NCAA Championship Finals earlier this year. Head coach Kim Mulkey’s efforts of forming a winning team paid off and the LSU took home their first championship title in all these years.

This remarkable victory not only proved beneficial for the LSU but also for Angel Reese who went on to sign a barrage of NIL deals. The LSU will face the Colorado Buffaloes in their first NCAA clash.
