The NCAA star Cameron Brink recently declared for the WNBA draft. Following that, she reflected on her “life changing” years and thanked the Cardinal head coach Tara VanDerveer. She also credited her parents for the phenomenal success she has had in the college basketball circuit. And now Brink is hailing the “shyest” supporter of her life.

Brink was excited to receive congratulatory messages from NBA Stars- Stephen Curry and Seth Curry. This had the fans excited about supporting their favorite college athlete.

While the elder Curry made her a video where he said ‘League her,’ the younger one won over Brink’s heart because of his shy attitude. As per Brink, Seth is, “so funny because he’s like the shyest, most soft-spoken person I know. He sent a video to Brink on the celebratory occasion in which he looked genuinely excited,” and that “made me super happy.”

It is said that Cameron Brink’s parents Michelle Brink and Greg Brink used to study at the Virginia Tech along with Seth and Steph’s parents Sonya and Dell Curry. The four plied their trades as athletes for the college. Steph can be seen at Cardinal games at times supporting Brink whereas Brink’s mother too shares story updates on her Instagram account tagging Sonya Curry.

Meanwhile, Seth is also quite close to her god-sister Cameron, recently adjudged the Conference Player of the Year and the Defensive Player of the Year. Seth had then also applauded Brink for her achievements, calling them “Clean… …” and “Sweep..” Now that Brink opened up on God brother Seth’s heart-sweeping reaction it would have given the fans more detail on their proximity.

What’s next for Brink?

Meanwhile, Brink is projected as the second overall pick after the NCAA sensation Caitlin Clark. ESPN draft predicts that Brink might go to the Los Angeles Sparks. Now since the Sparks are in revival mode, getting Brink into the team can be pretty useful. She can help the Sparks especially after their former star Nneka Ogwumike left for Seattle. Brink averages a whopping 17.9 points per game with 11.7 rebounds per match and can definitely boost up the Sparks.

On another note, we can be sure that whatever team Brink goes to will earn a lot of following not only because of her fans but also because the Curry brothers will support her. And going forward, it will be a delight to watch Brink battle it out against the top teams in the WNBA – a bigger stage for one of the biggest stars.
