Moreover, they set the record for most points in a single game in their 133-44 demolition over the McNeese State Cowgirls. However, there are rumors of trouble in paradise inside LSU’s locker room.
According to the latest sources, two of their prominent faces– Angel Reese and Flau’jae Johnson–seem to have some sort of bickering going on between them.

How did things start to fall apart for Angel and Flau’jae?
Things got intense between both these Lady Tigers following a social media brawl between their mothers. Seemingly, Angel’s mom, Angel Webb Reese landed some harsh criticisms of Flau’jae’s mother’s English and grammatical sense. She wrote, “Folks pls do not send me long text msgs with a bunch of grammatical errors it gives me a headache, how do I know you said what you said if I can’t understand what you’re saying?” Following this, Johnson’s mother, Kia Brooks responded with some hostile words of her own.
Kia had a brutal take on Angel’s low GPA. She wasted no time in giving Reese’s mother a piece of her mind. Brooks immediately posted, “You definitely know about grammar errors when your daughter got a 2.0-or-less grade point average. Stop being petty, fake and hateful, and take responsibility for you and your daughter’s actions.” As a result, this heated altercation had an adverse effect on Angel and Flau’jae’s relationship as well.
Angel Reese and Flau’jae Johnson is one of the most power-packed duos in the college basketball world. The chemistry and bond that they share between them have transcended beyond the court.

Not so long ago, Reese reflected on her special attachment to Flau’jae when shared a heart-warming gesture on her birthday. Apparently, she posted numerous pictures of both of them together. In addition, there was also a TikTok video featuring the background song “Open Arms by SZA ft. Travis Scott.”
The LSU Tigers are blessed to have athletes like Angel Reese and Flau’jae Johnson gracing the program with their presence. Both these players have been firm pillars for LSU for quite some time now. Apart from this, they have been instrumental in the Lady Tigers’ championship run last season. We will have to wait and see if things get back to normal between the two.
