Underrated Star Flau’jae Johnson

There is no doubt that Angel Reese showed up again on another important day for the reigning NCAA national champions. But since the spotlight shines on her the brightest, some feel it is unfair to her teammates who sometimes are overlooked. Johnson not only beat Reese in rebounds but in points as well. She scored 24 compared to Reese’s 16 and Aneesah Marrow’s 17 points.

Because of this, fans took to X to express their opinion on why Johnson is better. One fan wrote how during the entire season, Johnson has been the best player for the LSU yet all the credit still goes to Reese.

Because of how little Johnson was being involved in the play, another fan demanded Reese to give the ball to Johnson.

Sports Journalist Jemele Hill too chimed in with her thoughts, calling Flau’jae the MVP for the night. She highlights the leadership quality and maturity of her gameplay.

One fan was adamant about how Johnson gets disrespected and raised his voice for hyping her up.

Acknowledging that Reese is a star, fans hail Flau’Jae for her continued performance throughout the season. They are now eagerly waiting for the Clash of the Titans. LSU will face Iowa Hawkeyes in the Elite 8, which is considered as a mouth-watering clash.
