Ranked as the No.1 recruit in her class by ESPN, shooting guard Azzi Fudd carried UConn to the national championship game in her Freshman year. She has also been awarded the National Player of the Year honor. In 2022, she became a member of the Big East All-Freshman Team. Her court exploits have also improved her brand image and market value.

Today, Fudd is earning big through her name, image, and likeness deals with multi-million brands.

In a span of the last two years, Azzi has inked several NIL (name, image, likeness) deals with different brands. These endorsements contribute to her annual value of $ 152000. In September 2021, she signed endorsement deals with Chipotle as their ‘Real Food for Real Athletes’ ambassador. Then two months after that in November, she also became an equity partner for BioSteel Sports Nutrition. As a part of the deal, she endorsed BioSteel’s electrolyte drink as a healthier hydration option. She also wrote in her Twitter/X post, “Maintaining my hydration is critical not only to my life on the court but also in class. @biosteelsports is a brand and product I believe in. Clean. Healthy. Hydration. Excited to officially join #TeamBioSteel.”

Further in December, she signed a multidimensional partnership with 4-time NBA Champion Stephen Curry’s brand – SC30 Inc. The partnership includes a sponsorship deal and personal mentoring from Stephen Curry himself. As reported by Boardroom, Fudd is representing the Curry line of shoes, as she is perceived as the ‘Face of the Future’ by the brand.

In November 2022, she signed a deal with Nerf, the toy brand alongside Paige Bueckers, her superstar teammate. She ranks at No.12 in the Women’s College Basketball NIL Rank list. Her NIL endorsements in 2023 include brands like Bose and Buick.

Fudd will be turning 22 this month, fulfilling the eligibility for the WNBA draft.

Fudd going back to the Huskies for the 2024-25 season

Fudd is planning to return to the UConn Huskies for her senior season despite becoming eligible for WNBA draft. In a video posted on her Twitter/X account, she says, “I plan on staying. Why would I want to leave the basketball capital of the world?” as reported by the UConnblog.
