The Cavinder twins have decided to return to the University of Miami for the 2024-25 season and play the final year of their collegiate eligibility. Notably, Haley and Hanna Cavinder are popular TikTok stars who helped the Miami Hurricanes reach the NCAA Elite Eight last season. But it seems that the return of the twins to collegiate basketball is not the only thing they are bringing with them.

Back in 2022, the Cavinder Twins signed as members of the Under Armour family for the first time through an NIL deal. But this time, they’ve inked a deal for another three years by signing a new footwear and apparel endorsement deal. But why did Haley and Hanna Cavinder sign this deal?

For those unaware, this deal is an illustrative offer that will help the twins feature in Under Armour’s content campaigns. The deal will significantly benefit Haley Cavinder as her $895,000 could potentially reach the one million mark after this deal. Meanwhile, both sisters will also provide input on Under Armour’s upcoming products. “Under Armour is giving us a platform to continuee on our journey of inspiring the next generation,” the twins shared in a post. But this isn’t the only reason behind signing the NIL deal.

Power of NIL feat Cavinder twins

The 23-year-old Arizona natives amassed more than 4.5 million followers on TikTok as they posted videos amid lockdown. This formed the basis for signing a “dream partnership” with Under Armour. “Haley and I wear Under Armour every single day,” Hanna Cavinder told Elite Daily before making an official announcement.

Since the sisters practically live in athletic outfits most of the time, the new roles of testing out products and offering feedback on designs seem ideal. “Whether we’re going on a walk or going to dinner, it’s a brand that you can wear on and off the court. We absolutely love it.” Notably, the Cavinder sisters have played a vital role in changing the understanding of NIL deals.

As they learned about the power of building a brand as collegiate players, they started signing more and more deals. Back in July 2021, when NIL launched, the twins officially announced three major brand deals, including Boost Mobile in Times Square. Coming back to Under Armour, it is sure to be a game-changer for the TikTok stars. What do you think?
