LeBron James and Gilbert Arenas’ special relationship is hard to replicate. The fierce court competitors became great companions. King James even trusted his friend for his kids’ game grooming and gambits. The baller turned analyst trained the two junior James and became privy of their potential.

The first person who springs to mind while discussing LeBron James’ boys is his elder one. After making significant progress, Bronny is currently anticipated to be selected in the Top 10 of the NBA Draft. Though Bronny has been playing most of the time, veteran guard Gilbert Arenas of the Washington Wizards feels that Bryce Maximus, LeBron’s younger son, is more intelligent and may perhaps be the better player of the two.
“Very intelligent too, like we’ll do things like pick-and-roll splits. And I’m like, I’m going to just mix it up. No matter what we did, he read it perfectly, every single time. He probably might be the smartest one out of ’em.”
Gil claims that LeBron once called him and asked if he could have a look at his son Bronny, who was working out at Dribble2Much. Saying “yes,” Gil drove him to UCLA and set up a workout routine with Skyy Clark.

Where do the LeBron James kids stand?
Bronny is a rookie at USC who leads the Trojans in scoring, rebounds, and assists per game with an average of 5.9 points and 2.6 blocks. After transferring to Notre Dame in August of last year, Bryce is back at Sierra Canyon.
But unlike Gil, not many believe Bryce has an edge over his sibling. The absence of high school statistics further fuel this sense.

Bryce is currently rated by 247 Sports as a 4-star recruit and the 148th-best talent in the country. There have been offers from Duquesne and Ohio State for him. But that doesn’t vindicate Gil’s take as resilient Bronny is battling hard to leave his freshman mark in the ongoing NCAA season.
