The Kansas Jayhawks center Hunter Dickinson is the player to watch out for. With his height, he can solve a fair share of the rebounding issues that the Kansas coach had mentioned. Dickinson averages a double-double with a whopping 21.7 points with 12.7 rebounds per match in the seven games he has played.

Another player to keep an eye on will be the Kansas Jayhawks guard Kevin McCullar Jr. He averages a whopping 18.1 points and has grabbed 7.3 rebounds per contest with 5.7 assists per game. He will have to step up along with Dickinson if the Jayhawks want to leave a mark through this game. Apart from Hunter and Kevin, the spotlight is equally on other players in the match between Kansas Jayhawks vs UConn Huskies.

Players to Watch
The University of Connecticut Huskies have an efficient scorer in their guard Cam Spencer. He averages a spectacular 16.3 points per game and will be their go-to man if they decide to play an offensive game. He potted a respectable 16 points in what could have been a close game against the Texas Longhorns.

Other than that, the Huskies would be banking on their guard Tristen Newton. He has amped up his rebounding capabilities significantly from previous years. At the time he averages 15.6 points and has nabbed 8.1 rebounds per game. Newton had smashed a double-double in three of their matches against the Indiana Hoosiers, the Manhattan Jaspers, and the New Hamsphire Wildcats.

Head to Head
The Huskies do not share much history with the Jayhawks. They just battled each other only thrice. The first happened in 1995 whereas the second took place in 1997. The third had a long unexpected gap with the teams locking horns in the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
This will be the first time that the teams will be at loggerhead at the Allen Fieldhouse. The first meeting had taken place at the Kansas City. More importantly, the Kansas have emerged victorious in all their three matches, and the Huskies have a good chance of upending them this time.

Match Preview
The Huskies will try to dominate the Kansas with their rebounding skills whereas the Kansas can decimate the Huskies with their pace. Going by this NCAA season’s play, the UConn looks a better-composed team and can stop the Kansas in their tracks.

The game can ultimately come down to the one who has superior rebounding skills, and if that happens the Huskies can be sure of registering their first win against the Kansas.
