It was an intense and close game that went down to the final buzzer. UConn came in as the favorites but were given a run for their money by Baylor. The exciting game had a controversial ending when the referees failed to call a foul on Huskies’ Aaliyah Edwards.

With just seconds left to go, Baylor were trailing by one. They gave the ball to Dijonai Carrington, who drove in before attempting a pull-up midrange shot. The Huskies survived a scare and advanced to the Final Four with a one-point win.
