Arizona and Michigan were both one-seeds and persevered in their respective brackets, as the seeding suggested ahead of the NCAA Tournament. They both have a combined win-loss record of 71-5, which shows how difficult it will be for the winner of the first semi-final to face off against either Michigan or Arizona. When it comes to these two giants, things can go in any direction. But Arizona has the better effective possession ratio, ranking 15th in the stat. The Wolverines are ranked at 162nd.
