America’s unarguably biggest event for basketball is rolling down a steep slope at full speed as only a day remains in the ritual opening of Selection Sunday. With the fiery competition in place, fans’ expectations of their favorite teams are only getting higher. While we still don’t know which teams will make it to the March Madness through automatic bids, we have an idea who won’t.

With the unanticipated results that the crucial games of various conferences are bringing to the table, it is hard to not make a feast out of them. But where will these much-anticipated matchups of the season take place? Here is a detailed look at the venues hosting various March Madness matchups.

Apparently, the vastly hosted event will include 14 cities for a total of 68 teams and 67 games. The first week will, as always, be for the First Four where the four lowest-seeded teams will compete against each other. Dayton, Ohio will host this event on March 19-20, 2024, in UD Arena. • Spectrum Center (Charlotte, N.C.)
  • Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Indianapolis)
  • CHI Health Center (Omaha, Neb.)
  • PPG Paints Arena (Pittsburgh)
  • Delta Center (Salt Lake City)
  • Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena (Spokane, Wash.)
  • FedEx Forum (Memphis, Tenn.)

Once we enter the even more intense Sweet-16, the teams will be played according to their regions. Seemingly, here are the venues for each-

  • East region- TD Garden, Boston
  • Midwest region- Little Caesars Arena, Detroit
  • South region American Airlines Center, Dallas
  • West region- Crypto.com, LA

These games will run for three days, from March 28 to March 31, 2024, to give the basketball world this year’s Elite Eight and then the Final Four. What is ahead of that?

Venue for the final dance of the March Madness

The Final Four teams of the year 2024 will travel down to Arizona for their further rounds of the competition. The home of NFL’s Arizona Cardinals– State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona– will host the final events of the March Madness in April. The semi-finals will be held on 6 April 2024 while the keenly awaited Finals of the NCAA Tournament will be held on 8 April 2024 in the same Arizona-based Arena.

This year’s NCAA championship has undeniably made many fans anxious. With unexpected twists and turns and low-seeded teams winning over the top-seed ones, it is quite possible that we will have a Cinderella story in the near future. The only question that now remains is who will reign over the NCAA Men’s Division I for the year 2024.
