

College basketball’s regular season has just ended and fans are gearing up for the most exciting part of the tourney- the March Madness. Going ahead 68 teams will square off against each other in a one-of-a-kind battle that will give the ultimate NCAA Champion in April. Everyone is down to speculating on the teams that will qualify for the much-anticipated showdown.

Amid such excitement, NCAA analyst Autumn Johnson released her predicted bracket for women’s basketball that had all the fans browsing through the internet with passion and looking forward to incredible matches that lie ahead.

What are the brackets?
The top four teams in the AP women’s basketball polls are South Carolina Gamecocks, Stanford Cardinal, Iowa Hawkeyes, and Ohio State Buckeyes. Out of these three teams are placed at the #1 seed in the predicted bracket by Johnson. The three teams are South Carolina, Stanford and Ohio State. The fourth team to join them is UCLA Bruins. They will contest their first game against the number 16 seeded teams which are High Point, Norfolk State, Chattanooga/Sacred Heart, and Lamar/Little Rock.
Caitlin Clark’s Hawkeyes fall in the next seed. They’re placed in the second one along with Texas, Southern Cal, and Virginia Tech. It will be interesting to see how Iowa open their game against Jackson State. Similarly, the other three teams will lock horns with Holy Cross, Marshall, and Albany.

The bracket of the third-seeded teams is also extremely exciting since they’ve two prominent teams – Lady Tigers and Huskies. Other than that it has Oregon State and NC State. While Oregon State will clash with South Dakota State, NC State will battle it out against Eastern Washington. Taking the same seed, LSU and UConn will be pitted against Grand Canyon and Hawaii.

The #4 seeded teams in the bracket are Oklahoma, Indiana, Colorado, and Gonzaga. They will square off against the no. 13 seeded team Stony Brook, Tulsa, Toledo, and Richmond. It will be interesting to see how Indiana navigate their path considering they have a good 24-4 tally in the regular season and have underrated stars like Mackenzie Holmes.
Notre Dame finds its place in the list of the #5 seeded teams in addition to Syracuse, Utah, and Kansas State. They will encounter Drake, FGCU, Fairfield and Middle Tennessee. These competitions will bring a lot of delight and elation to fans who would want to see some unlikely wins that bring with them the thrills and shrills of basketball.

The #6 seeded teams are Duke, Creighton, Louisville and Baylor. Fans are delighted to see Baylor making the list as the sixth seeded team which shows that they haven’t had much of a downfall after their former head coach Kim Mulkey left for LSU. These teams will clash against Green Bay/ Texas A&M, Michigan, Columbia/Kansas, and Maryland. All of the seeds and their clashes are as follows:-
