Being a coach, where he had to serve as a beam of hope for the team, Payne was their biggest demotivator, which made many fans speculate that he was the problem.

In a post-game interview, showcasing no faith in his team, Coach Payne said, “The disconnect is understanding fully, how hard that you gotta practice, how hard you gotta play, how desperate you have to be defensively. The disconnect is other teams are good. I knew going into this game that this was gonna be a tough game. We can’t beat teams with talent. We’re never gonna be the most talented team. But we can beat them with fight.”

So far, the Cardinals have played twelve matches out of which they have only won five and lost seven games, which have the fans furious and eager to get Coach Payne fired.
