The Gonzaga Bulldogs look like a very dangerous team this season. After all, going undefeated will make a team a force to reckon with. However, there is a certain air of infallibility with the Bulldogs right now that many people are overlooking. It is the tournament of upsets, and it takes one loss for a team to lose its feathers.

Sal Iacono of Fox has pegged a surprise team that may have flown under the radar in the USC Trojans. He believes that Evan Mobley and the size of the USC Trojans will overwhelm the Bulldogs and cause an upset.

“They’re not gonna beat USC. That’s a team that’s going to create problems… I think they give Gonzaga trouble. That’s going to be the matchup. The Mobley brothers.

“By the way, they spanked Kansas. A third-worst loss in team history. That team has been around for 375 years. Third worst-loss in Kansas history and the Mobley brothers had 30 points combined. The bugs inside are going to take care of Gonzaga.”

Gonzaga Bulldogs: Are they en route to a championship?
The Gonzaga Bulldogs are one of the best teams in the nation for a reason. They haven’t lost all year and have one of the most fluid offenses in the history of the NCAA. However, March Madness is a fickle tournament. Even the best teams can’t afford even one slip-up, or they will lose and be eliminated.

This year’s tournament has been a host to a lot of major upsets. However, Gonzaga is still safe and will face the dangerous Creighton Bluejays in the Sweet Sixteen. The USC Trojans are facing the Oregon Ducks. If both teams win their matches, they are guaranteed to meet IP in the Elite Eight. Maybe that is where Cousin Sal’s prediction comes true.

However, we shouldn’t count our chickens before they hatch. The Trojans could very well fall to the Ducks, as Oregon just upset the #2 seed Iowa Hawkeyes. Similarly, Creighton could end this storied Gonzaga run. However, if they meet up, it will be a very interesting matchup.
