The LSU stars Hailey Van Lith and Aalyah Del made an appearance with Coach Mulkey in front of the media after securing a flawless victory against Texas Southern. During the interview, Coach was asked about the missing piece of her team that has proved to be a major force in the past matches. In her response, Mulkey said, “You just coach, you coach hard and you know what that is, that gives another opportunity to somebody else, this kid right here, (pointing at Aalyah Del).”

“You just you know next man up and you make them understand the process of what we’re trying to do defensively. You don’t change positions, I’m not changing positions, you just next man up and you just keep coaching because you don’t know when, where, whatever, when those kids are going to win a big ball game for you and you just keep coaching,” she added further.
