Shaquille O’Neal is widely regarded as one of the most dominant players in the history of the NBA. In addition to basketball, the Big Diesel has many other talents, including incredible musical ability and a love for rap. He has also passed on his love of music to his children. For instance, his son Myles O’Neal is a great DJ.

With the latest story on younger brother Shareef’s Instagram, we could assume music is becoming the O’Neal family’s new heirloom after hooping. The 23 YO NCAA and G-League star from Shaq’s family is exhibiting his new talent in music, following in the footsteps of his father and elder brother.

Shareef is a proud alumnus of LSU, just like his father. After a successful season at LSU, O’Neal Junior had to undergo a scary heart surgery. However, strong as ever, Shareef bounced back to prove himself but this time in music.

Back then, Shaquille O’Neal posted a video on Instagram where he raps to Three 6 Mafia’s That’s Right with rapper Akon. In the video, along with Shaq rapping a verse or two himself was his son Shareef O’Neal. The two went in hard on the beat and seemed to enjoy spitting bars together.

Whereas his brother Myles has just retired from touring the whole country promoting his new song, following in the footsteps of the music icons from his family, Shareef flaunted a new composition made by himself on his Instagram story.
