As much as the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer, Caitlin Clark’s father is also garnering love and attention from the basketball world. It looks like he is also feeling what everybody does when they watch the incredible Naismith Player of the Year perform on the hardwood. However, who knew he would break into the pantry and bring some snacks along for the Final Four game? That too in his hoodie pockets.
Tonight, Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeyes faced the UConn Huskies in a memorable Final Four matchup. Both the teams had been making waves on their side of the court ahead of this game. And tonight they decided to present a spectacle for the fans at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland. But for the fans and family, it was a game to enjoy just like a movie.
Multiple clips showed Caitlin Clark’s father Brent looking around in his kangaroo pocket. While there is no surety if it was an edible or he was just checking for his keys, the basketball world was quick to record it. As the announcers showed him on the camera and joked about his ultimate dad move, the fans were also on the same bandwagon.

The Hawkeyes came out on top 71-69 after a controversial foul call on the Huskies’ Aaliyah Edwards. While Clark had her customary all-around game with 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists, she was shut down well by UConn. Now all eyes are on the National Championship Game on Sunday as Iowa will go up against the South Carolina Gamecocks. Wouldn’t be surprising to see Clark Sr. going into his pockets again.
