Guess what? Caitlin Clark is not just the Big 10 Player of the Year but a global icon with her impact on women’s sports reaching throughout the world. In fact, she is now getting reporters from every country of the world to talk to her about her accomplishments. Just when we thought Caitlin Clark may slow down after achieving more than the sky itself, she seemed to boost even more to reign over the entire universe.
According to the tweet by the Hawkeye reporter Blake Hornstein, an interviewer came all the way from France to talk to her after Iowa’s win over the Penn State Lady Lions in the quarter-finals. He captioned the post, “Caitlin seemed to be taken aback when she realized a reporter came (from France?) to the Big Ten tournament to ask her about her impact across the world. Worth a listen.”
Seemingly, when the reporter introduced himself, Caitlin Clark was taken aback and took a moment to realize what was happening. When the reality hit her, all she could do was smile before finally responding to the man. While talking about her reach she humbly said, “I’ve never been to France but would love to go.”
