The college sweethearts Nina Earl and Russell Westbrook enter the Pauley Pavilion once again to cheer for the UCLA ladies. The matchup showed the spectators the formidable Bruins in their complete glory as they took over the California Baptist completely. The game that ended with UCLA leading 84-55, must have definitely given the couple a flashback of how it was when they were on the other side of the floor.

The official Instagram page of Just Womens Sports broke the news to their followers. They added the caption, “Former UCLA stars Nina and Russell Westbrook are in the house.” In the photo, Russell is talking to his wife whom he also met on the same grounds at the University of California, Los Angeles. While not much is known about Nina’s basketball career, fans do know that she was an essential part of the Bruins ladies back in the day.

On the other hand, Russell Westbrook was a point guard for UCLA for two years from 2006 to 2008 after which he committed to the NBA drafts. The Seattle Supersonics picked him as their 4th overall pick in the first round in 2008. He has since played for the Oklahoma City Thunder for 11 years and has been trying his hands at other teams every year since. Currently, Westbrook wears the No. 0 jersey for the LA Clippers.

The Bruins have always been outperformers when it comes to competition. However, Russell and Earl are a great example of love and unity also ties everyone here. The two ballers met in 2007 on the UCLA campus as significant parts of their respective leagues. Apparently, love for the sport also played a huge part for the two as confessed by the 2017 NBA MVP on Nina’s podcast.
