Among them is the talent of LA Clippers’ No.14– Terance Mann. Looking back at his days as a freshman at Florida State, he recalls his college welcoming moment involving Bryce Johnson.

Taking a trip down memory lane, Terance Mann shared his on-court welcome college experience involving Bryce Johnson. In a recent episode of the popular podcast show The Tidal League, the host asked him about his welcome college moment. Responding to which, he took a pause, then he replied, “On the court, I would probably say, Brice Johnson.”
The Monster Brice Johnson displayed complete dominance on the court that night scoring 39 points and collecting 23 rebounds. His impressive numbers helped the Tar Heels beat Florida State with a score of 106–90.

Terance further added, “I think it was our first ACC game, in the non-conference game it was cool. I was a freshman, we didn’t play nobody crazy. We might have, but I don’t remember.”
As a result of this historic performance, he became the second North Carolina player to achieve this feat after Billy Cunningham.

An insight into the college basketball days of Brice Johnson

Brice Johnson spent his NCAA days playing college basketball for North Carolina. The power forward had an average of 10.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game as a sophomore. Moreover, he averaged 12.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game as a junior. As a result, he was named third-team All-ACC. Brice had an impressive senior season as he led the Tar Heels to the ACC regular season title as a senior co-captain.
In addition to this, Johnson scored the most double-doubles in 2016, thereby setting a new North Carolina school record. He tied Tyler Hansbrough’s record with 399 rebounds. Later, he graduated in 2016 and was a first-round draft pick for the LA Clippers.
