Caitlin Clark has been making some giant waves in the world of basketball. So, veterans from the field coming forward to give her shout-outs is not a big thing anymore. However, the 45-year-active ex-ESPN anchor Dan Patrick recently gifted her a grand gesture. Clark is now a part of the Dan Patrick Show alongside Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.

Taking it to her Instagram story, Caitlin Clark showed her followers how cool Dan Patrick’s imagination works. The original post is a photo of Dan Patrick, holding a magazine with Clark on the cover, along the wall where Caitlin Clark and Stephen Curry are clutching against each other. The 4x NBA champion is guarding the NCAA queen as she tries to make a bucket.

There is also a video on the official X account of the Dan Patrick Show where Patrick is on the set of the show, giving sports enthusiasts a peek inside the infamous ‘man cave’. He talks about how all the paintings on the wall inside that man cave are of the pairs who never went down against each other.

Introducing his latest street art piece, Dan says, “Our newest addition. Now, they may be in the All-Star weekend next year with the shooting contest. We have Steph trying to guard Caitlin Clark. She’s gonna shoot and it looks like Steph is struggling there trying to keep up with her.”

According to Patrick, their street artist RC only took the weekend to complete NCAA’s female Stephen Curry, Caitlin Clark’s wall art playing against the real Stephen Curry. But who did she replace in the man cave?

Caitlin Clark paints over James Harden and Jerry West

There was not enough wall space in the man cave. Hence, Patrick had a tough choice to make. He went on to remove the wall art of LA Clippers‘ star performer James Harden and NBA’s silhouette inspiration and LA Lakers legend Jerry West.

Along with these elite athletes were artwork of Shaq (Shaquille O’Neal) and Wilt (Chamberlain) and Mike and LeBron James. Among the basketball legends were baseball icons including Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson. There was also a hypothetical matchup of Lawrence Taylor and Tom Brady of the NFL.
