Caitlin Clark has a special surprise for the Iowa locker room

Caitlin recently celebrated her upcoming 22nd birthday in the most generous way as she had a special surprise for her teammates. Apparently, she gifted everyone a dazzling pair of Nikes. Following this, her teammate and Iowa’s senior guard Kate Martin took to Instagram and shared her elation. In the video she is saying, “It’s Caitlin’s birthday and she got us a gift.” After this, she couldn’t hide her excitement after she unwrapped the shoes from the boxes.

Martin then started describing the features of her shoes and what are the things that she liked about them. She further added, “Look at these. I really like the thick shoelaces. I really like the color green.” Afterward, she got a sweet hug from Clark after which she thanked her for this sweet gesture.

Apparently, Clark along with Bronny James, JuJu Watkins, Haley Jones and DJ Wagner is among the five college basketball athletes who are signed by Nike.

Clark’s association with Nike

After witnessing her immaculate skills on court, Nike approached the dynamic No.22 of the Hawkeyes. Soon after they went on to sign an NIL deal with the 6 ft point guard in October 2022. According to ESPN, Clark was earning a little over $1 million before she signed the contract with the sports giant. Consequently, her earnings skyrocketed to a seven-figure mark after the conclusion of her deal.
