Let’s see how the Tigers are roaring their way forward.

LSU Tigers winning back to back

Ranked 10th in the SEC, the LSU Tigers have recently pulled off a back-o-back win against South Carolina and Kentucky. While they were playing against the Gamecocks, they overcame a 16-point deficit in the second half and secured a tight 64-63 win against the then #11 South Carolina.

Similarly, they were trailing in the first half, however, they locked in on a strong defense and erased the 15-point deficit, keeping the Wildcats stunted at 38 points (just 2 more than the Wildcats first half score). As a result, #17 Kentucky fell to LSU with Tyrell Ward’s buzzer beater shot.

The matchup poses as a perfect example that no matter how good the top teams perform, the underdogs will always fight their way back in the game, hence reminding us that this remains an underdog season.
