A momentous day in the staggering career of Iowa’s prolific 6 ft guard–Caitlin Clark–unfolded Thursday night. The reigning national player of the year added perhaps the most significant feather to her cap when she overcame Kelsey Plum’s all-time scoring record in the NCAA women’s division.

Following this, some of the most popular figures in the country applauded Clark for her historic accomplishment.

Caitlin Clark made her entire team proud after reaching the top of the charts. Consequently, the Big 10 conference members, fans, and peers are also amazed at her great leap. In a tweet posted on the official Big Ten Network account, many Iowa and Caitlin Clark’s fans congratulated her on the vast platform: “Congrats, Caitlin! It’s not every day someone breaks the all-time scoring record, so you know we had to go B1G.”

In addition to this, some of the popular faces that cheered for Caitlin Clark are Big Ten’s Commissioner, Tony Petitti, Deputy Commissioner, Diance Dietz, and Vice President of Women’s Basketball, Megan Kahn. Further, the former WNBA President– Donna Orender also expressed her admiration for the 22-year-old.

The men’s college basketball Player of the Year– Zach Edey– was also in the house to congratulate Caitlin Clark. Additionally, along with former NFL player Tom Brady, there were also some broadcasters who have covered Caitlin Clark from her early stages heaping praises for Clark. These were Lisa Byington, Gus Johnson, Gayle King, Eli Manning and Peyton Manning.

Even Iowa fans and actors Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis couldn’t help but succumb to Caitlin’s greatness. Moreover, Connecticut Sun’s women’s basketball coach Stephanie White extended her warm wishes to the Sporting News Athlete of the Year. Former players from Iowa’s men’s and women’s roster also came ahead including Monika Czinano, Kathleen Doyle McKenna Warnock, and Luka Garza along with Tory Taylor of Iowa’s football team also have a special message for Caitlin.

Caitlin also got a surprise shout-out from her favorite baseball team mascot– Clark the Cub. The other all-time NCAA scorers include Brittney Griner and Jackie Stiles. Also, Damian Lilliard of the Milwaukee Bucks, Christy Winters Scotts of Maryland, and Meghan McKeown of Northwestern University were some of the other familiar faces commending Caitlin on her tremendous efforts.
