Bronny James has grabbed all eyeballs since his debut for the University of Southern California Trojans. He had missed the first 8 matches due to a congenital heart defect but came fully fit and fine in his debut game against the Long Beach State.

Now that the USC will clash with the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday night at the Galen Center, fans speculate if Bronny will be playing this game.

Will Bronny take the stage against Colorado?

Bronny scored 7 points in his previous game against the Utah Utes. The 19-year-old nabbed three rebounds and an equal number of assists in that contest. He did get very limited chances of shooting and did decently well in them. He had 2-for-4 field goals and potted one three-pointer out of the three chances he got. He had a cent percent free throw percentage.

Although his performances haven’t been too exceptional, he has been able to keep his place in the team since this season the USC are trying to form their core players. Bronny is not the only freshman. They have their guard Isaiah Collier who also made his debut in college basketball this season.

The USC lineup has been injury-ridden this season and that more importantly raises the question if Bronny will take the floor against the Buffaloes.

Bronny is currently fit and he is expected to enter the cost on Saturday. Fans would keep an eye on him since he has been getting chances to outdo his mediocre image in the college basketball circuit.

How has Bronny performed?

James Jr. would be keen to show his talent and prove his mettle. However, it remains to be seen if he can overcome the barrage of low performances and come out with flying colors. Most of his performances have failed to touch double digits in points. He has scored in double numbers only thrice this season.

But it’s high time he puts rest to all his critics and comes back stronger. His career-best has been 11 points against the Arizona Wildcats and Bronny hasn’t been successful in saving the Trojans from the jaws of defeat. But when it comes to fitness, as mentioned thankfully he is completely fine and the heart defect hasn’t stopped the freshman from plying his trade.

On Saturday when he takes the court it will be interesting to see how the team manages him because he has played the role of a fourth or fifth player throughout this season. In the middle, he got a chance to take centre stage when both Collier and Boogie Ellis had been sidelined due to injury but now he is again back to his original role since their comeback.
