Luka Garza is going to go down in history as one of the greatest players in Iowa Hawkeyes’ history. However, his four-year association with the team is about to end this season. Garza is expected to complete his graduation and declare for the 2021 NBA Draft. He hopes to help Iowa become NCAA, or at least Big Ten Champions, before that.
However, how does one become a dominant force like Garza? He broke the all-time scoring record for Iowa and will see his #55 jersey get retired. Garza opened up his life to local Iowa channel KCCI and showed the importance of how he trains to facilitate his success.

Garza shows a bunch of unconventional techniques. The highlight of it has to be Garza doing Yoga breathing to give himself a small edge against opponents on their level of conditioning. Preparation like this has helped Garza become the NCAA superstar that he is. However, will all of these efforts yield a championship for Iowa?

Luka Garza is on one of the best teams in the nation. He is the reason behind Iowa’s dominance and he will be the reason for a possible championship run. The Hawkeyes go as far as Garza can take them. However, a skilled big-man like Garza who can virtually dominate every opponent can take any team pretty far.
While the Hawkeyes have Garza, other teams have much deeper teams. But Iowa has very solid chemistry between their players. Coach McCaffrey has done a great job of making the team connect with each other. However, can all of that help them get past Big Ten heavyweights like the Michigan Wolverines or the Illinois Fighting Illini?

As far as Garza is concerned, he has done his job. He has given the Hawkeyes fanbase countless memories. However, ending his tenure as one of the greatest players in the college’s history with a title would make for a wonderful story. He stayed back in college to get to this moment, and now it is on him to deliver.
