The UCLA Bruins women’s basketball team had a splendid regular season. With a 25-6 tally, they occupied the second position in the Pac-12 tournament. They also made it to the March Madness as the second seeded team. This was possible because of two of their most noteworthy players – the centre Lauren Betts and the guard Charisma Osborne.

While Betts averaged 14.7 points per game, Osborne took the second number in the UCLA lineup with 14.4 points per match. In rebounds, Betts took complete advantage of her height and position, nabbing 9 rebounds per game whereas her second fiddle had 4.9 rebounds per contest. Hence, before UCLA play their first March Madness game, it is apt to know a little more about their star players who have till now kept a low profile.
