Who is Kal’el Ware?

Born in Arkansas, Kal’el, the 7-foot, 210-pound freshman, made his NCAA debut with the Oregon Ducks. After a successful season, he transferred to the Indiana Hoosiers. He was the star recruit of the class of 2022 and considered the most poetic NBA draft pick.

Despite his star-studded season, Kal’el entered the transfer portal because the coaching staff limited his play time, which was a significant setback for him. When Ware joined  Indiana Hooliers, his first match was against Florida Gulf Coast, he made an impressive debut as their center, recording a double-double in his very first game. He showcased his stellar skills by scoring 13 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, dishing out four assists, blocking three shots, and stealing the ball twice.
