Angel Reese is under a lot of scrutiny. After facing toxic trolling due to LSU season-opener debacle, the LSU star is now facing divided Internet over her latest post and caption. From online statements, it could be gauged that while some were pleased by Reese, others spoke out their mind.

Reese had shared something about her haters which made the fans come out and express themselves. The virtual reaction was mainly negative but some backed the Maryland-born barbie.

What did Reese share?

Reese posted four pictures of herself on Instagram on Saturday. She was seen wearing a crown in two of those pictures. Her image as an NCAA star solidified when the LSU won the 2022-2023 championship title. From then on even media outlets started calling her Bayou Barbie. 

Reese posted these pictures with the caption: “Everybody hating wish they could swap lives with me & that’s why I don’t take yall serious🤭 .” The internet seemed to be divided in their reaction to Reese’s post. While some came forward to support her, others gave her a check over her attitude.

While one fan wrote, “Be great and quit concerning yourself all things internet,” another pointed out at her rumored low grades at the LSU: “They just want you to get them grades together that’s all. Nobody hating!” One fan supported Reese pointing out, “Never address haters they don’t deserve the energy, ” whereas another tried to make Reese question her caption by stating: “Plus your kind of talent is a dozen in the WNBA. ”

Another fan echoed the same sentiments towards Reese enumerating, “Why all your posts about someone hating or wants to be you??? The stage was set for you to be the next one ☝🏾. You’re fumbling kid! Just be!!!! 🤦🏾‍♂️. ”

A fan encouraged Reese to point out: “Envy is something serious, keep shinning ✨” One also went about pointing out her recent NIL deal with the sporting giant Reebok saying, “Keep that Reebok on they neck.” To sum it up, the comment section had two extreme reactions regarding Reese.

How has Reese performed?

Meanwhile, Reese has been going strong after her four-game absence from the LSU. She basketed 19.7 points per game in the 11 games she played. Other than that Reese has an astonishing 11.2 rebounds per game. Thus, she has smashed a double-double in averages. However, what went wrong for Reese was her four-game absence but she came forward to reveal that was due to “My mental health is the most important thing before anything”. 

Perhaps, fans will start viewing Reese in a different light as the season progresses, and she will come out on top and not be affected negatively by the fans’ expectations.
