“I’m hopeful that (Nussmeier’s) going to make a decision that he comes back,” Brain Kelly said on his radio show this Thursday. Is he really going to stay back? It looks like so; if he does that, Brian Kelly will take a breath of relief. But has Brain successfully convinced two more athletes?

For now, “Fire Kelly” is getting spammed all over social media after the nation’s number one quarterback, then LSU commit flipped his decision and joined the defending champions. Fans are blaming Kelly for his decisions and he is receiving hate for all the bad decisions he made throughout the season. But finally, after a lot of criticism, “Locked On LSU’s” host Matt Moscona has brought some good news for him and the LSU fans.

“I think many probably assumed that it was a foregone conclusion that Harold Perkins would be off to the NFL draft. I will tell you candidly that the more people I talk to in around the LSU football program, the more there is a growing sense that Harold Perkins is going to return in 2025.” Perkins is a key player in LSU’s defense. Unfortunately, this season he could not participate as he was ruled out after tearing his ACL when they were playing against UCLA Perkins. Now, LSU wants him back on the team despite the injury. We would love to have him back,” Kelly said on Monday to the media.

Moving forward, Matt discussed the second player and added,But you can look at this receiving group for next year. And go. You get? CJ Daniels could return. Aaron Anderson could return.” Now if that happens, Kelly and the team will have a reason to celebrate. The wide receiver has logged 39 receptions on the season and completed 456 yards in 10 games. Although he battled with lower-body injuries throughout the season, he did not give up and stopped playing. He is the real warrior and now we know the reason why Kelly said this: “We’re just excited about having him with us,” the head coach added, “and all indications are he’s going to be back next year.”

Finally, after a lot of criticism, Kelly is looking confident. If Nussmeier, Perkins, and Daniels join him, the 2025 squad will look stronger. However, the players have not made any official announcements yet. Let’s see if Brain Kelly has received any new commitments in the class of 2025.

Zach Weeks joins Brain Kelly’s LSU

When was the last time someone’s recruiting journey really got popular in the world of college football? Bryce Underwood is definitely going into history. Anyway, after a few disappointing days, Kelly can finally smile. Four-star linebacker Zach Weeks joined LSU on Monday. Zach is all set to sign with LSU’s football program in the early signing period on December 4.

The rising star had an amazing junior season on both sides. Talking about the offense, he has caught 12 passes for 174 yards and scored three touchdowns. On the other side, he has tackled 96 times and scored three sacks and an interception. Not bad at all. His stats make him the No. 332 overall prospect and the No. 35 linebacker in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 industry rankings.

Now Zach is the only player with strong family ties with the program and he also shares a close bond with Coach Baker: “I probably have the best relationship with Coach Baker; he’s a great guy and I really like how he connects with me and everyone else outside of football. Inside of football, he brings the energy and that’s what I’m really looking for in a coach,” Rivals reported. Now that Brain Kelly is over Underwood and he has new recruits joining, confirmation from LSU athletes will make the recruiting process more interesting.
